Alienware laptops get new "Haswell" 4th gen processor today

Last week the first Haswell Core i7 equipped laptops began to appear at top retailers like the Lenovo Y-series and HP Envy 15/17. Yesterday on E3, Alienware announced it's gaming laptop lineup gets the latest tech. Today they started going on sale at Dell Home.

 

While, Alienware doesn't have the reputation of being a 'cheap' PC, there is a coupon available knocking $50 off. Below are the base configuration models in each of their various display sizes:

 

14-inch Alienware 14 Haswell Core i7-4700MQ (4th gen), 8GB RAM, GeForce GT 750M — $1,149 at Dell Home. Cheapest ever by $50. List is $1,199.

17.3-inch Alienware 17 Haswell Core i7-4700MQ, GeForce GTX 765M, 8GB RAM — $1,449 at Dell Home. List is $1,499.

18.4-inch Alienware 18 Haswell Core i7-4700MQ, 1080p display, Dual GeForce GTX 765M SLI, 8GB RAM — $2,049 at Dell Home. List is $2,099.
