Apple’s iOS 7 to Feature Game Controller Support

After a long time, Apple is ready to introduce games on its mobiles. This has some very far-reaching implications. For one, game programmers will be able to have access to controllers thereby overcoming the annoying obstacles that once riddled this field. According to AppleInsider, this fact got highlighted at the WWDC that was held on Monday. The iOS 7 will now be a cradle for MFi game controllers. The bane of the existence of third-party controller makers has been finished off once and for all. Apple is looking forward to producing a standard interface that will satisfy all those concerned.

The apt slogan of “Write Once, Run Everywhere” was floated as the catch-all phrase for the occasion. The company has a lot in store for its customers. There are several types of controllers. Some look like screen revealers while others have a standard Bluetooth image. Apple is definitely an overachiever like its late boss and founder Steve Jobs who was a perfectionist. Currently it is giving Sony and Microsoft a tough time in the competitive cut-throat market. The situation is volatile indeed.

The scene is such that Apple can accomplish the gaming equivalent of time travel and that too with one hand tied behind its back. Already, the iPod, iPad and iPhone have penetrated the gaming market with ease. Taking it to the next level is what we are seeing before our eyes. The iOS site on the Net, Touch Arcade has also shown pictures of the game controllers along with handy tips on how to operate them. A hint is enough for the wise.

Based in Cupertino, California, Apple Incorporated has shown the next generation gaming experience in its iOS 7 schemata. Since Apple has never shown such an interest in gaming or the video games industry before, this will be a novel way of testing its limits. The technological titan has faced much tougher times in the past such as when it was virtually going bankrupt. But thanks to the able and wise leadership of its creator and mentor, the genius Steve Jobs the company picked up pace and soon became the topmost contender on the global scenario. Better days lie ahead for Apple provided it takes it all in a stride with the right attitude.
