New rumor from Asia claims that Apple will release the $99 plastic iPhone in five colors matching the iPhone 4 bumper colors.

$99 iPhone comes in these Colors

Why reinvent the wheel? Apple is rumored to use the same colors offered on iPhone 4 bumpers for the rumored plastic iPhone. Earlier we carried an Reuters report that said that Apple mulls a $99 price-tag for the low-cost iPhone . Now Japan's Macotakara reports that a source told them that the $99 iPhone comes in the five colors the iPhone 4 bumpers are available: white, pink, black, blue and orange.

It is not clear if Apple will release a PRODUCT red version.

The $99 iPhone is supposed to be released in September.
