Origin's Anniversary sale has a corny title but decent savings
Yesterday at 10AM Pacific the Origin Anniversary Sale began withdiscounts up to 70% off select PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 games. A few notable prices include $5 Battlefield 3 (normally $20), $20 Crysis 3 (normally $40), and $20 Dead Space 3 (normally $40) - all of those are at their lowest prices ever. All Xbox 360 and PS3 games come with free shipping on orders $25 and up. The sale ends next week on
It's interesting to note Origin preempted the Steam Summer Sale this year with their own round of discounts. Many of these titles are worthwhile, and unlike Steam there's a selection of 360 and PS3 games to choose from. For those waiting on the Steam Summer sale, there isn't an announced date but last year it was in July.
