The fans leaving early had though already their punishment. They could not go back into the stadium for the overtime due to regulations. So Chris Bosh should not be to hard on them.

Boring Part Of The Year Over For The Heat

LeBron James Introduces Sprite 6 Mix By LeBron James In Miami
MIAMI (AP) — LeBron James was standing at his locker and chatting a few days ago when the conversation turned to which teams out there the Miami Heat might fear entering these playoffs. James quickly gave his answer. “We respect all,” James said, “but fear none.” With those words it became obvious: Even after a regular season that seemed boring at times, and was reduced to a sputter at the finish, the Heat have no lack of confidence as they head to the playoffs. They’re bidding for a third stra ...

Things to watch for in the Bobcats vs Heat playoff series

LeBron James Introduces Sprite 6 Mix By LeBron James In Miami
From defending LeBron James to Al Jefferson's pump fakes, this series will have much to watch. Make no mistake, this playoff series should not leave your eyes worse for wear, on either side of the floor. I'm sad to say it might not last as long as I'd want, which is more to laud the Heat's accumulation of talent than denigrating the Bobcats', but if that's the way it goes, that's the way it goes. But this should be fun to ...

Oklahoma City Thunder v Phoenix Suns
MIAMI (AP) — Finally, the NBA playoffs are set. It took the entire season to fill out those brackets. Overtime thrillers in Memphis and Charlotte, a go-ahead dunk in Oklahoma City to win a game and cap another scoring title for Kevin Durant, plus some good old-fashioned disinterest by Brooklyn ... all that, and more, on the final night of the season was needed before the eight conference-quarterfinal matchups in this season's NBA playoffs could be dec ...

76ers Top Resting Heat In Finale, 100-87

Miami Heat Shane Battier talks to report
MIAMI (AP) — For Philadelphia, the season finale was about what’s coming next year. For Miami, it’s about what’s coming next week. And really, nothing else mattered. Thaddeus Young scored 20 points, Michael Carter-Williams had 12 in the final game of his impressive rookie campaign, and the 76ers wrapped up a dismal season by topping the Heat 100-87 on Wednesday night — their second win of the season over the two-time defending NBA champions. Brandon Davies had 11 poin ...

LeBron James Introduces Sprite 6 Mix By LeBron James In Miami
Robert Mayer-USA Today Sprots The game against the Philadelphia 76ers never mattered to the Miami Heat. The Heat couldn’t care less if the 76ers, who are currently in a mass rebuilding stage, ran away with the game at the American Airlines Arena, or if one of the Sixers exploded for a career night. The Heat couldn’t care less about their three-game losing streak either, which cost them the home-court advantage in the East. None of that mattere ...

Playoff paranoia underway - Coverage of NBA possibilities overblown, NHL underappriciated

Oklahoma City Thunder v Phoenix Suns
Because I have spent most of the last three weeks in the Knox athletic training room recovering from a knee injury, and because the TV in said training room is permanently locked onto ESPN programming, my consumption of sports news has gone from an already unhealthy level to what can only be described as disturbing. My main discovery is that just behind the microscopic analysis of NFL draft prospects like Jadaveon Clowney or Johnny “Football” Manziel, which is so overblown that I’m afraid Me ...
