Apple's iOS 7 Icons are Preferred over iOS 6 in Online Poll

iOS 7 is launched with plenty of new icons. Apple has changed look of almost every icon for iOS 7. But Reminder, Safari, Passbook, Newsstand, Game Center, Contacts and Compass icons are almost totally redesigned. While other icons like Face Time, iTunes, Calendar, App Store and main '7' icon has become pretty much flat now than the previous ones. An accomplished designer called these icons “hideously ugly” while talking with BGR.

Yet, the users gave preference to new iOS 7 icons over the previous iOS 6 icons. According to a recent online mobile poll created by Input Factory’s Polar app depicts that new icons are preferred by a ratio of 2 to 1 over the previous ones. 46,401 numbers of votes are given till now. The poll is still in process. Despite of winning poll, it is a fact that these new iOS 7 icons are really flat. These are very simple or in other words 'ugly'. Just look at Safari icon or Reminders one. You will also be agreeing with me.
