Mozilla Firefox OS based smartphone 'ZTE Open' is going to hit Spanish markets tomorrow i.e. July 2 for €69/$90 off-contract price. It will come to more countries during next weeks.
ZTE, Mozilla and Telefónica are together launching a smartphone called 'ZTE Open' on July 2. This is the third smartphone that is based on Firefox OS and its sale will open tomorrow in Spain. ZTE Open smartphone will come to other markets soon. The Engadget reports that Telefónica has tweeted officially about the launch of this device for just €69/$90 including a prepaid balance of €30/$39 and a 4GB microSD card. So this offer will make this all new Firefox-powered smartphone cheaper.

This budgeted smartphone specs include a touchscreen of 3.5-inch wide with 320x480p HVGA TFT display, 3.2MP camera, single-core CPU with MSM7225A cipset, 1200mAH, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and its Firefox OS can run HTML 5 apps. Its dimensions are 114mm × 62mm × 12.5mm. ZTE Open is not the very first smartphone that run on Firefox OS. Spanish Geeksphone has already launched Keon and Peak back in April.
