The Finnish giant, Nokia has something for everyone. Its latest series consists of a trio of many-hued handsets with 3.5G HSPA Internet support. The low-end consumer market was clamoring for this stuff and so its wishes have been fulfilled. Among these the 207 and 208 both are able to work on the Series 40 mobile OS. The 207 and 208 look alike since both have a QWERTY keyboard along with appropriate numerals. But if there is one thing that stands out it is the bright fluorescent colors. The highly florid shells of the mobiles make them a treat worth buying.
Furthermore, in a manner reminiscent of the Asha 501, these shells are interchangeable. The 207 and 208 sport a 2.4 inch QVGA display and a strong battery. A 64 BM random access memory along with 256 megabyte internal storage capacity are additional features. This can be utilized up to 32 gigabytes via a microSD card slot. The two handsets weigh less than a 100 grams each. The dimensions add up to 114.2 X 50.9 X 12.8mm. They can be fully charged via a microUSB.
There is a subtle difference between the two and that is the 1.3 mega-pixel backwards facing camera in the Nokia 208. The Nokia 207 is missing this feature. Internet speeds on either one can go up to 3.5G. The Series 40 has a bag of fun-filled features which naturally come with these mobiles. These include Nokia Express Browser as well as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, the Nokia 208 can also be purchased in a different format. That is in a Dual SIM variation. This comes courtesy of Nokia’s Easy Swap Technology. SIM cards can be exchanged while the mobile is still turned on. Aside from the slight loss of battery power, this handset is fit as a fiddle. Now what more could you as a consumer ask for?
The Nokia 207 and 208 may be bought from stores in the following interesting colors: red, cyan, yellow, white and black. The price is perfect at $68. The three handsets are almost look-alike of each other. They will be entering the market soon. As for the consumers, they will be in a shopping frenzy. Products are meant to fulfill the desire to possess. And while one cannot have everything, one can have some of the things.
