Samsung Galaxy S4 Sales Hits 20 Million in 2 Months

Samsung has launched its Galaxy S4 device back in May. More than 20 million GS4 smartphones were sold globally in past 2 months.

Samsung Galaxy S4 surpasses 20 million sales within 2 months of its launch. The sold number includes all sets sold worldwide both at home and abroad. This raise in sale of GS4 is due to the support of PMorgan's global investment bank.

After a weekly meeting with affiliated heads of Samsung at main office in Seocho-dong on Wednesday, southern Seoul, co-CEO Shin Jong-kyun sates, “I’ve already recognized the fact. Official announcement will be coming soon." He did not tell the exact number as company's 2Q13 earnings report.

But other Samsung sources told The Korea Times that GS4 sales actually surpass 20 million figure by the end of June. Yet the company's spokesperson, Park Han-yong refused to confirm this figure. Lets wait a day more for quarterly earnings report which is set to release on July 6.
