Free iPhone Apps are Still Available

Apple has launched the official page on iTunes marking the 5 year anniversary of the app store giving away free iPhone Apps yesterday. Apple celebrates the anniversary by giving away five apps and five games to everyone.

The list of free iOS games include Tiny Wings, Infinity Blade II, Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP, Where's My Water? and Badland. iOS apps such as Traktor DJ, Barefoot World Atlas, Day One, and Over. The free iPhone apps are still available. It is not clear how long this promotion will last so better download them now.

The iTunes app store has now 900,000 apps in the catalog. The store started with 500 in 2008.
