Google Chrome 28 Stable with Blink Support is Available for Windows and Mac

Google has released the official Chrome 28 version in the stable channel. Google Chrome 28 Stable will now support Blink rendering engine instead of Webkit for Windows and Mac. Windows Chrome users will also get richer notifications feature that will come to Mac soon.

Google Chrome 28 finally comes out of beta on Tuesday. The official version number 28.0.1500.71 of Google Chrome Stable is being released in the stable channel for Windows, Macintosh and Chrome OS. This new Chrome 28 Stable version is a significant one in terms of replacing the older page rendering engine of WebKit with Google's latest Blink web page rendering engine.

Google has also announced that in this Chrome update, Chrome for Windows will also provide its users richer notifications feature. The notifications refresh is having a redesigned pop-up window that shows both text and images. Now users do not need to go out of Windows to check emails. This feature is now available for Windows uses only. This update is coming soon for Mac users.
