New Google Maps Android App Brings Enhanced Navigation, Reviews and Explore Features

Following an unveiling of Google Maps for Android, a brand new app is also being released. The standard announcement was made on Wednesday much to the delight of map users.

The new Google Maps are meant to be used on Android. Besides finding locations they are more than latitude and longitude facilitators. The features they include in their purview include a series of restaurant reviews from Zagat which pinpoint Yelp. Your commentary in this regard is most welcome too. An entirely novel touch-based system of designating locations without the use of text or speech is available. There are five basic compartments: Eat, Shop, Drink, Play and Sleep. These are in relation to restaurants, shops, hotels and other paraphernalia. Even feedback regarding any malfunctions is accepted at Google. This new app is quite a sensation at the Google I/O in 2013.

There is traffic-related news that is relayed to drivers via the Mapping Service. This of course sounds a lot like the Israel-based Waze. Many of Waze’s features will in fact be incorporated into Google Maps. Google’s new version has more tweaked items and services in its vast menu. Besides updates on any traffic incidents there will be detour details too. This mapping info ability gives users their money’s worth in the blink of an eye. It is essentially for drivers and tourists who want to get the most out of their forays into the Great Outdoors. Especially extroverted people with a passion for travel and the good life will find this latest Google outdoor description location device a boon and a blessing.
