Following the successful launch of its gargantuan 84-inch UHD flat-panel TV in the U.S., LG announced the coming of its 55-inch and 65-inch models in the U.S.
However, folks outside Southern California will have to wait as LG has selected the state to be its launch pad. Partnering with the South Korean consumer electronics giant is retailer Video & Audio Center. Together, they will begin selling the models at $5,999 and $7,999, respectively.
For starters, LG's new Ultra HD TVs features a unique industrial design that touts a slim bezel and a 4.1 channel 50-watt sound system. And yes, it also includes LG's distinct sliding speaker and a motorized sound bar.
