2013 Tax-free Weekend ins on August 2 to August 4 in select states. This Tax-free shopping weekend lets consumers save on Back to School items and other select product groups. The Tax-free weekend is though just a thing in some states.

The Tax-free Weekend is a little Black Friday for consumers in about 20 states. The 2013 Tax-Free Weekend will be on August 2 to August 4 in most States. The Tax Holidays are exemption certain product categories from sales tax. The product categories differ from state to state. Usually they include clothing, school supplies and computers. 

The Tax-free weekend is set to be in sync with back to school shopping to support parents. In North Carolina the 2013 Tax-Free Weekend could be the last one. There is a tax reform bill in play according to WNCN that will cancel tax Holiday starting in 2014.
