Verizon Edge is an early upgrade payment plan that divides device retail price over 24 months. It offers customers to upgrade their phones every 6 months if its half price is paid.
Verizon Wireless has set competition on fire. The company has just unveiled its new 'Verizon Edge' device payment plan that allows users to get a new phone every 6 months. This offer is a result of AT&T's early upgrade plan 'Next' that it recently announced.
Don't Miss: NES Classic Alternatives are Cheaper
The Edge plan will allow you to pay the retail cost of your device in 24 installments paid on monthly basis. After 6 months, you can upgrade their phone. But on condition is applied here. To get this trade-in offer, you have to pay the half price of your phone in first six months.
You have to pay no extra upgrade charges and upfront cost. But the hitch is that you have to pay much more in first six months to switch devices. And when the device is changed, again you have to pay its half price in next 6 months to get your hands on new device. This plan can satisfy your love for technology but will cost you high. So this plan does not look convincing.
AT&T Next can not socre high. We can just hope that Verizon Edge will get better response after its late August launch. According to official blog, Verizon Edge device payment and early upgrade plan 'will be available to customers on Share Everything plans starting August 25th.'
