No Larger Smartphones by Apple, BlackBerry and Nokia Until End of 2013

Android vendors have already launched their 5-inch or above smartphones and Chinese smartphone vendors are behind them. But Apple, Nokia and BlackBerry have not yet launched 5-inch or larger models, nor they will until end of this year.

No Larger Smartphones by Apple, BlackBerry and Nokia Until End of 2013

The 5-inch or above screen size smartphone manufacturing race is on its peak for Android vendors. While the Chinese vendors has also shown intentions to climb in. But the iOS, Windows and BB smartphone vendors have not even joined this race yet. DigiTimes report claims today that Apple, Nokia and BlackBerry are not going to launch their 5-inch or above smartphones until the end of 2013 or this release might be done in Q1 of 2014.
 
It's already in rumors that Apple will delay its larger iPhone till 2014. BlackBerry is expected to launch its rumored 5-inch AMOLED display smartphone called BlackBerry A10 during 4Q, 2013. Nokia's larger display model with WP8 GDR3 support is reportedly under development and will come by the end of 2013. This detail points that larger smartphones from these 3 big brands will not come before the end of this year.

The brands which have already launched their 5-inch or above smartphones includes Samsung, HTC, Sony, LG and Motorola. Lenovo, Coolpad, ZTE and Huawei are those Chinese smartphone manufacturers that have also climbed in for this larger smartphone manufacturing.
