President Barack Obama spoke yesterday at an Amazon.com fulfillment center about the economy and the new 7,000 new jobs Amazon announced.

Amazon announced on Monday that they will add 7,000 new jobs. This announcement was timed with an appearance of President Barack Obama at an Amazon.com Fulfillment Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee yesterday. In the speech Barack Obama proposed a corporate tax reform that will use billions of dollars in revenues generated by a business tax to create jobs.

The announcement of the new Amazon jobs sound exciting, but CNN has a report that Amazon's warehouse workers are getting paid below the national average.

And no, Barack Obama did not pack a single package during his visit to the Amazon.com Warehouse. At least I could not find a photo telling otherwise.

To find an apply for Amazon jobs you can visit this page on Amazon.com.
