Apple's Low Cost iPhone '5C' Can Feature 8MP Camera

A new leak suggests that Apple can launch its low cost iPhone '5C' with 8 megapixel camera similar to that present in iPhone 5.

Apple's low-cost iPhone is the talk of the town these days. Many leaks, rumors and speculations are circling these days regarding iPhone 5C launch date, specs or other details. A newly leak suggests that this soon to come low-cost iPhone may include an 8MP camera. MacRumors reports via a Chinese site IT168 that low-cost iPhone's 8MP camera is same found in iPhone 5. Leaked image of the iPhone 5C camera module shows it the same crystal-covered camera as present in current iPhone 5 models. Not sure, true or false.

On the other hand, Apple's upcoming iPhone 5S is also expected to be upgraded with a 12MP camera. And the low-cost iPhone, can also be named as iPhone 5C, will share some specs of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5 or even it can be an iPhone 5 replacement.

Previous leaks of iPhone 5C suggested it to be a low-cost device that will come with poly-carbonated plastic casing in many colors. It is expected to be launched in early September with iPhone 5S. Pricing leaks suggests that its cost will be in between $450 and $550 which is though not that low. But carriers will release it at lower price. $99 or more can be deducted with agreements.
