LG G2 is Officiall Now

LG has announced the launch of its premium G2 smartphone with more than 130 global wireless carriers on board. It happens to be its latest flagship smartphone and has the tech crowd in a state of excitement.

LG has come up with something big. Its G2 smartphone has a 5.2 inch LCD display screen. The resolution is high indeed. Along with a 2Gigabyte RAM it has 16 or 32 Gigabyte internal storage capacity. Like its cousin, the HTC One, this model too has done away with the microSD slot. It has back side power and sound buttons. And a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor is there too. Among the most prominent features are the power and volume buttons. A 13 megapixel rear view camera has optical image stability facility. And a 2.1 megapixel shutterbug is available on the front so you may take pictures of yourself. A 3000 mAh battery fuels the whole contraption. It runs on Android Version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

This smartphone comes in two colors: black and white. It will be introduced in South Korea before it arrives in North America and Europe. The launch was in New York though. It was attended by over 700 guests from 30 different countries. This smartphone is the new thing after the Optimus G. LG has put more control buttons in places where your fingers can go. The dimensions of the smart phone are 138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9 mm.  And as a handy piece of technology, it certainly does harmonize with the customer.

President and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, Jong-seok Park said during the launch event, "Our definition of innovation today is technology that truly resonates with consumers. We have always listened to and learned from consumers in pursuit of innovation. We took these insights to new heights in developing LG G2, the most exciting and ambitious mobile phone in our company's history."
