The rumors are flying around like crazy as September 10 event is approaching near. A photograph of the back panel for the iPhone 5S reflects a tweaked home button facility. This is one among a number of intrinsic fine-tuned components.
When compared with an iPhone 5, the new iPhone 5S back panel has a difference that belies its home button feature. The metallic spacer cushion looks unlike anything seen before. As for the region where the camera is supposed to be, it too shows the unmistakable signs of redesigning. Even the screw placement is modified in its scope. This radical transformation is an interesting phenomenon. However, it is the slot for the home button that is especially worthy of wide-eyed notice. That is because it is said to carry a fingerprint sensor in the future flagship handset. It will feature the technological expertise of Authentec. The company was an acquisition made by Apple in 2012 for $356 million.

Previously the fingerprint sensor slot was concave-shaped. This time around however it will be convex. And the home button will be composed of scratchproof sapphire which is definitely a plus point for the device. Even in Apple’s pre-release beta version of the iOS 7, such a feature was present though it was not taken to such a level of sophistication. The camera has an updated Light Emitting Diode flash that sends a burst of wattage in the direction of the object of photographic interest. These leaked photos are all we have to go by until the time the real thing comes out.
