Samsung has come up with something new on the event horizon. The South Korean company is ready to launch the SCH-W789 Hennessy, its Android flip handset which comes with many cool features.

The very thought of smart phones conjures up images of slim slate-like metallic devices that have streamlined edges. A flip phone would be the last thing on your mind. Yet that is precisely what the Hennessy (W789) is and it is brought to you by Samsung. A two-screen flip phone that is functional on Android, it appears to be an ordinary phone from the front when you look at it the very first time. However, looks can be deceiving. It opens up to reveal a second screen inside. A keypad is also available in the hidden area. The display has 3.3 inch dimensions along with high resolution. A 1.2 Gigahertz Quad-Core Processor carries out all the operations. It sports a 5 megapixel camera, a 1500 mAh fuel cell as well as a microSD card slot. The gadget runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The debut of this smart phone has taken place in China as well. However, the United States and the UK remain foreign territory. TouchWiz flavor has been pre-loaded on the device. And ChatON facility is available too. CDMA and GSM bandwidths feature in the repertoire of the Hennessy. The hardware supports GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi facility. This smart phone is meant for the retroactive crowd. They will definitely be quite pleased once they get their hands on the handsets. That is because from the looks of it, the Hennessy loves to hide its features behind an aura of mystery.
