GlassUp was to raise quite some money and then PayPal and IndieGoGo got in the way. Well, there is some good news for today. The PayPal conundrum has been solved. It was all in a day’s work. Things got off to a start by the plea for proper reimbursement of money to the people. This was done in an effort to convince the execs at PayPal to free the cash flow. It was an occasion for bad vibes. After the media got a whiff of this, things changed fast. IndieGoGo started doing what it could. Next, PayPal was contacted and they complied with the request. Now all the rest of the people have been reimbursed with what was rightfully theirs.
The whole issue began when PayPal refused to hand out the money until the GlassUps had been delivered. But the obvious hitch in this was that it would give the crowd funding campaign a knockout blow. Several methods were thought up to offset the looming disaster. The scheme had ensued on IndieGoGo. PayPal’s stubbornness was a thorn in the side. Had PayPal stuck to its ways it would have been devastating for GlassUp. The money would have been received a year from now. But thanks to the influential power of the media, this small hassle which could have escalated to gigantic proportions was averted in the nick of time. Indeed, all is well that ends well!
