Provided that the iPhone 5C gets sold for $400 per handset in China, Apple could become the top contender in the Sino-sphere. One other condition for these plans to go as per schedule is Apple’s pact with China Mobile. Via this route its shares could grow by 19.3%. This would surely make it the #1 player in China. This worldly prophecy was made by Katy Huberty of Morgan Stanley. An AlphaWise Survey of over 2000 people who possessed mobile phones showed this trend. The proposed cost price was reasonable and accessible to the modestly well-off in China. And the TDD-LTE version, which was on the same phase as China’s 4G technology, would surely add to the glitter the offer exuded.
