Apple Reportedly Hires Former Levi’s SVP Enrique Atienza for U.S. Retail

Apple has hired former Levi Strauss’s Senior Vice President, Enrique Atienza as director for U.S. Retail market. The company headed by Tim Cook will be taking this valuable human asset on board in a bid to boost its productivity.

Enrique Atienza has just joined Apple Incorporated in the capacity of Retail director. He will be surveying several sectors in the West Coast. The man was once a top executive at Levi’s. Now he has one of the most coveted positions at Apple. Quique Atienza Facebook page and LinkedIn profile by full name Enrique (Quique) Atienza, both reveals that he has joined Apple Retail

While many insiders were also evaluated, ultimately Atienza who is an outsider was selected since he was the one who best fulfilled all of the criteria. At Levi Strauss, Enrique was responsible for fine tuning the worldwide sales strategies for the classic blue jeans company. Customer satisfaction was the goal for Atienza at Levi’s. At Apple meanwhile, Atienza will be answerable to Steve Cano who in turn will report to Tim Cook.

Apple is bolstering its Retail Team. After John Browett left, the company is facing several new challenges which Atienza is now supposed to handle with dexterity and agility. Apple plans to introduce a bevy of brand new gizmos and gadgets in the Fall Season. For this its retail team has to do an excellent job at its end.

The iPhone 5S and the low-cost iPhone 5C are coming on the scene soon. And the 5th Generational iPad and iPad Mini will arrive towards the end of 2013. For now at least, Enrique Atienza is a senior-level director at Apple accrding to 9to5Mac. It took some convincing on Apple’s part to lure him away from his stint at Levis Strauss. But now that he is on the team he will be working hard for Apple’s Retail Team alone.
