Months after acquiring the popular read-it later app, Instapaper, Betaworks is now announcing a completely redesigned service for its users. In a blog post entitled "Re-introducing Instapaper," Betaworks explains the challenges of redesigning Instapaper while maintaining its minimalistic and simplistic design that many of its users have come to love.

"The challenge of modernizing Instapaper’s no-nonsense functionality and minimalist design aesthetic has been a fun one," the company said.
Today's launch re-introduces a new Instapaper that has been redesigned from top to bottom. If you're interested, you can sign up for an early access here.

For now, the new Instapaper is only available on the web. Redesigned mobile apps and browser extensions are expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
