Apple Rumors Roundup: September iPad, Tokyo Retail Store, Trademark Startup, Iran Ban and More
Rumors are just that, rumors. But there are some that have a halo of truth to them. Take the recent ones about Apple. The first one has to do with the lifting of sanctions on products going to Iran. The Obamaadministration has taken this step after decades of a sort of cold war with Iran. Partly this move is being made in order to support the insurrectionist element in the country. This is so that democracy can come to Iran after years of theocracy. Thus restrictions on trade were relaxed considerably.
Tablet sales in Japan may just be the thing that proves profitable for Apple. However, according to recent news reports there were no iPads in the Japanese market. It was all nothing but a rumor.
Then there is a series of pictures that are going around. They portray Apple gold casings undergoing some very brutal scratch tests. However, this would not occur in real life so it too was just an airy fairy thing that was sent off into the air. Latest is a scratch test done with knife on the back of iPhone 5S gold. We have alread posted the video yesterday.
Looking back at these three rumors, it seems that while some of them may have a kernel of truth to them such as the Iranian one, others are nothing but bosh and tosh. It is best to reconfirm facts before believing in them.
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
