Sony will not launch PS4 in its home land Japan this year. West will get the device in November, while Sony's next-gen gaming console will launch in Japan on February 22, 2014 for ¥41,979 including tax.

Bad news for Japanese game lovers. They have to wait 3 more months than the Western people to get their hands onto Sony's next generation PlayStation 4 gaming console. Tech giant has revealed this fact at Gamescom that PS4 will come 3 months later in Japan. PS4 will be launched next year on February 22.

The reason Sony gave for the late launch of PS4 in its home land Japan is that "Sony wants more time to have more content (games, probably) ready for the Japanese market at launch," according to Kotaku.

Good news for Japan is that Sony has some special launch bundle for its people. PlayStation 4 First Limited Pack will be a special edition that will come with free Knack. This special limited pack will also be available on same price as others.

PlayStation 4 will be available in Japan at ¥39,980 ($400) without tax. With tax, the price of device will be ¥41,979 ($420). If Japanese gamers want to buy a PlayStation Camera too with PS4 console, they have to pay ¥46,179 ($460).
