New iPhone is too expensive for most Chinese and lots of rumors surface in Apple news
The iPhone 5C might seem like a bargain in the US at $99. However, over in China where wages are fraction of what most Americans make, the device is the equivalent of $817. Billionaire investor Carl Icahn took advantage of Apple's depressed stock price after the iPhone event this week to purchase more shares. He called the stock "cheap" and said his already extensive holdings are among some of his best. A new Apple patent application has turned up that hints sapphire may be heavily used in future devices. Another Apple rumor making the rounds hints that there could be new Apple TV hardware coming within the month. Apple has plans to tightly integrate the M7 motion processor with its Maps offering according to an inside source. This integration could mean navigation doesn't end once you park your car.
