Apple is fully aware of the iOS 7 lock screen/Control Center vulnerability issue and it promises to fix it in its future software update.
Apple’s latest and most advanced mobile operating system iOS 7 has come up with a security vulnerability that allows user to bypass the iOS device lock screen password. This bypass will let the user or hacker to directly access the photo library, emails and other Web services accounts used for sharing data.
But Apple is completely aware of this security issue and the Cupertino is working on it. Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller told AllThingsD that “Apple takes user security very seriously. We are aware of this issue, and will deliver a fix in a future software update.”
Till then, you can disable Control Center access to your iOS device lock screen to save yourself from being hacked. Just go on the Settings menu of your iOS device, click on Control Center and toggle off the “Access on Lock Screen” option there. You are now safe from being hacked.
