GameCase adds Physical Controls to the iPhone and iPad, Google Updates Translate App, Apple Warns of iPhone Activation Server Issues

iPhone and iPad gamers will soon have a new product that adds physical controls to Apple smartphones and tablets. The product is called the GameCase and it has a pair of analog joysticks, shoulder buttons, and multiple physical buttons. It does require compatible apps and there's no word on when it will be available to purchase.

Google has announced that it is updated the Google Translate app for iOS 7 users. The app now supports over 70 languages, handwriting, and natural spoken language translations.

Apple has reportedly issued a high priority warning that there are some issues with iPhone activation servers. These issues are reportedly preventing some iPhone users from activating newly purchased and recently restored devices.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
