The two new iPhones by Apple have sold well. Over 9 million hand sets were up for grabs during the first three days since the launch. Apple has definitely become a household word in the United States and demand for it on a worldwide level too has skyrocketed.
The previous year, Apple managed to pass on 5 million units of its iPhone 5 in the same period of time. We don’t exactly know how the massive profits are divided up between the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C. But one thing is for sure. Their combined value is very high indeed. Of course, one of the major reasons behind the selling of these twin iPhones like hotcakes is the 5C model. The iPhone 5c is the cheaper and flashier model which is for a larger target audience.
The two iPhones also sold beautifully across the Chinese market. They feature iOS 7 which is a remarkable redesign of Apple’s mobile operating system. The new operating system par excellence has been installed on over 200 million devices. As for the iTunes Radio, it is a singular facility offered by Apple Incorporated.
The CEO of Apple, Tim Cook spoke of how he appreciated the support for his company shown by the people via their purchase of the products. He said that the company will try its best to come up with more supplies of both iPhones in order to keep up with the demand.
Tim Cook said, “This is our best iPhone launch yet―more than nine million new iPhones sold―a new record for first weekend sales. The demand for the new iPhones has been incredible, and while we’ve sold out of our initial supply of iPhone 5s, stores continue to receive new iPhone shipments regularly. We appreciate everyone’s patience and are working hard to build enough new iPhones for everyone.”
