AT&T and Pebble have joined hands in order to sell the smart watch by the latter for $150 at the former company’s stores. Friday is the date of the official launch for this wonderful device. Later on in October it will become accessible on an even broader level.
The Pebble smart watch is funky, nitty-gritty and convenient to employ in your daily activities. It has been especially made for busy people such as joggers, cyclist and golf experts. The smart watch allows various reminders from your smart phone to appear on it so you don’t have to reach for the larger device. When you see this factor, it becomes obvious why so many are craving its presence in their lives.
The smart watch comes with Bluetooth facility. Calls, emails and text messages can all be received on the high tech gadget. And it comes with an e-paper display unit and waterproof case. Other players on the scene are imitating and innovating too. Samsung recently started production of its 1.63 inch Super AMOLED Galaxy Gear.
Sony also held the debut of its second generation smart watch in the beginning of 2013. Finally, Apple Incorporated is also looking forward to coming out with its very own iWatch. So the competition will be getting tougher with the times. iWatches are in the same league of gizmos as Google Glass and have been termed wearable technology.
Michael Cowan, Director, Accessory Portfolio, AT&T Mobility, said, “As the exclusive carrier for the hot new Pebble smartwatch, this innovative device adds to AT&T’s extensive lineup of industry leading accessories for today’s connected world. This smartwatch is fun, practical, and easy to use. It is simple to see why people have been clamoring to get their hands on it.”
