What Deals to Avoid on Black Friday 2013?

The line may sound really crazy to many but yes it is true. There are a few deals that you must avoid on Black Friday 2013. Black Friday is one of the biggest and popular shopping extravaganzas in the country and millions of people wait for this day. There are many people who wait even for months to get a great deal on this particular day.

The tradition of Black Friday has been going on for a long while and it is now considered as almost like a ritual to everyone. This is a special day when everyone goes out for shopping and the large retailers as well as manufacturers also add a new dimension to this with their attractive offers. Each year, the large retailers and companies have been coming up with new and attractive offers, discounts on the popular items which include but not limit to television, Smartphone, tablets, freezers and so on.

The enthusiasm for Black Friday shopping is second to no other festival shopping event. People expect lots of huge deals on Black Friday and so far they have never been disappointed on this day. Starting from retailers with online stores, everyone has special plans for this event and they all stack up their warehouses way in advance to cope with the shopping spree. There are also a few shops that start their Black Friday promotion months before the actual day and continue the campaign even after the day after Christmas. However, the biggest rush and deals are mostly available on this day. You will find some amazing deals on this where you can save more than hundred of dollars. People just simply go out for shopping on this day and grab an item at a cheap rate even though they might have no use for it. This is just only a single example of shopping mania that we observe on each Black Friday. Just look around for Black Friday deals, rumors as well as prediction in different websites such I4U and you will see how big and grand this single day of shopping could be.

Although Black Friday 2013 will include lots of amazing offers for the customers, there are also a few deals that might rip them off. Usually the market and stores will be filled with thousands of offers which will save you hundreds of dollars. However, some unethical people always try to gain on this by manipulating the expectation and hope of the innocent customers. There have been a number of scams where the crooks came out with poor quality items and sold them in the rush of the Black Friday. This is how, they conned thousands of people in the past. Unfortunately, this is very common and so many people get tricked by this all the time. In addition, some companies also try to sell their obsolete items under the umbrella of Black Friday deals. Again, some companies try to trick the customers with trick pricing where they intentionally increase the price of their product by double and provide a slight discount on the day of Black Friday. While large retailers such as WalMart or Amazon would hardly ever do so, this is a very common thing in small stores.  Through this, they managed to attract lots of customers and sell their products at a higher price. However, only the customers are the losers in all those cases. This is why; we always advise our loyal readers to identify the money saving offer and avoid the deals which actually cause them a loss. In the below, we will tell you about some of those Black Friday 2013 deals to avoid in the first place. Here are some of those Black Friday deals you should avoid in the first place.

Toys
Buying toys on Black Friday is not a good idea at all. While you will see that all the major retailers including Target will put a massive discount on the festive season, you can surely expect the prices will fall after two or three weeks. In some cases, you will also see that the retailers are holding on to their toys since they are high in demand with the baby boomers and the parents would pay anything for their kids. This is why; many retailers do not even put a single dollar discount on the toys. However once the shopping spree is over, you will see a drastic change in the toy price. So try to resist the urge for toys on this black Friday and buy after the Black Friday unless there is a limited supply or shortage of your favorite toys.

Top brands and luxury items
It would be quite difficult for the top and luxury brands come up with amazing deals on their products which have a low profit margin. They have a limited market for the elite segment and they are happy with their limited sale and high profit strategy. So do not anticipate a great deal on an expensive top brand product. In addition, you should also avoid luxury items and accessories such as Jewelry, watches, cosmetics as well. According to I4U, the luxury stores such as Tiffany & Co will not anything really cool  to offer you on Black Friday.

Premium TVs
Each of the top brand TVs has a tendency to become expensive right before the festive season. Since they are highly in demand in the Black Friday shopping list, many retailers intentionally increase their price followed by a minimal discount. However, you can the TVs at lowest prices somewhere in October when the demand is really low. Although you will get some amazing door buster deals for top brand TVs on Black Friday, there will a few only and some of them might have questionable quality as well.

Clothes
All the retailers including Best Buy will have a massive discount on their garment items. However, the prices of clothes will go even lower after the Christmas as there will no customers for them after the festive season. Many people save a huge amount of money after buying their clothes a month after Black Friday.

Game Consoles
The game consoles are always expensive on the Black Friday and unless you get some bundled offer with them, you are better off without those deals.
