Constellation is more for luxury than performance
You may not know it but sapphire crystal is the second hardest mineral next to diamond. That means covering LCD screens of smartphones, such as the Vertu Constellation makes it extremely unlikely to scratch. In fact, pretty much the only thing that might scratch sapphire would be diamond or perhaps more sapphire itself. The Vertu Constellation is designed to be more luxury than to offer high-end features.

That isn't to say it's not capable smartphone, it just lacks some of the specifications of modern devices such as the iPhone 5S or Samsung Galaxy S4. The Constellation has a 4.3-inch screen supporting 720p resolution. It also uses a dual-core processor and grade 5 titanium casing. The phone uses a dual core processor running at 1.7 GHz made by QUALCOMM.
The smartphone runs Android 4.2 and has 32 GB of internal storage. The rear camera has 13-megapixel resolution and a front camera is available offering 1.3-megapixels. The smartphone also has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and NFC technology.
