Walmart Announces Great Value LED Light Bulbs Selling for under Nine Dollars
Walmart has stepped into the LED lightbulbbusiness in a big way with a complete line of Great Value LED bulb offerings. Walmartsays that it wants to make LED light bulbs more accessible and affordable for consumers and the pricing on some of its offerings will certainly go a long way towards reaching that goal.
Walmart is offering a non-dimmable 60-watt equivalent LED that will retail for $8.88. Users wanting a dimmable version of Apple will pay $9.88. Walmart has 26 different types of LED light bulbs including floodlights and more.
A 65-watt LED non-dimmable floodlight will sell for $14.88. The dimmable version of that bulb will sell for $15.88. Walmart makes purchasing LED a simple choice for consumers through the new low price and package design that is easy to understand. Consumers get excellent light output that is more reliable, convenient, better for the environment and saves money in the long run," said Steve Bratspies, executive vice president of general merchandise for Walmart.
