LG is paying homage to its country today by announcing the release date of its powerful LG G Pad 8.3 tablet this coming October 14, Monday, next week. Koreans will be the first to enjoy the tablet that has been pretty impressive so far based on initial reviews. The tablet will retail for 550,000 won or roughly $515 based on the current exchange rate.
However, it won't be long before other countries will be able to purchase the tablet as LG also announced that the a global rollout is expected to transpire before the year ends. The LG G Pad 8.3 features an 8.3-inch display with a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution. It's powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7GHz and backed by a 2GB RAM.
