JCPenney is morphing back in what it was before to save the retail chain after the stint of former Apple Store executive Ron Johnson did not bring the big turn-around. One of the things JCPenney is bringing back are free Snow Globes on Black Friday.
JCPenney revealed this Black Friday promotion on Facebook on Saturday. The post got already over 7,000 Likes. Consumers clearly like a free Snow Globe on Black Friday. The free JPenney Snow Globe will have a Disney theme. In related news, JCPenney is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their online store. The first item the store sold online was a Power Ranger figure.
This year Black Friday is rather late falling on November 29th, 2013. In 2012, Black Friday was on November 23rd. Retailers will have four full weeks to please you with special Black Friday 2013 sales until the culmination of the actual Black Friday and the encore on Cyber Monday 2013 (December 2nd).
According to Black Friday Countdown there are 219 days until Black Friday 2013. We will again provide full analysis and guidance of Black Friday Ads and Deals in our Black Friday Hub.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
