Core i3 laptops to hit $200 during Black Friday 2013

Laptops won't be as popular as they have in years past during Black Friday 2013

Traditionally, one of the biggest categories during Black Friday are notebook computers. As smartphones and tablets have become more popular, the popularity of notebook computers has waned. That trend will continue this year as more people opt for smartphones or tablets, but there will still be some good prices on notebook computers during Black Friday 2013.

During Black Friday 2012, a full-size 15.6-inch Intel Core i3 notebook computers could be had for as low as $349. You can find some basic Core i3 notebook computers for that price online right now. We're predicting during Black Friday 2013 you'll be able to find some notebooks running older Core i3 processors for around the $200 mark.

At that price you won't get the newest technology or the most storage capacity, but for basic computer for kids or first time computer user price is usually the driving factor. We also expect even lower prices for more basic notebook computers has computer makers scramble for anything they can get amid a slow year for computer sales.

According to Black Friday Countdown there is about 45 days until Black Friday 2013. We will again provide full analysis and guidance of Black Friday Ads and Deals in our Black Friday Hub.
