Sony PS3 to sell for $150 on Black Friday 2013

During Black Friday 2012 Sony was offering the PS3 with 250 GB of storage for $199.99. That is now the normal price for the standard PS3 bundle. With the new PlayStation 4 launching in time for Black Friday 2013 we expect to see prices for the PS3 console dip even lower this year.

We expect to the PS3 to sell for $150 or less during Black Friday 2013 sales. Many consumers who can't put their hands on the PlayStation 4 in time for holiday giving will undoubtedly settle for a PS3. We also expect to see bundles selling for under $200 with several popular video games included.

Sony intends to keep selling the PS3 alongside the PS4 for the foreseeable future and the PS3 has a long life ahead of it yet. We expect the PS3 will still be one of the biggest selling game consoles of the 2013 holiday season.

According to Black Friday Countdown there is about 45 days until Black Friday 2013. We will again provide full analysis and guidance of Black Friday Ads and Deals in our Black Friday Hub.

Today, IGN can reveal that Bloober Team -- the Polish studio behind PS3's and Vita's A-Men and A-Men 2 and PS4's Basement Crawl -- is working on a new game.
