This is the year of smartphones and tablets, so the leading mobile manufacturers are trying their best to hold their position into the market! Nokia on the other hand will try its luck by releasing their first entry to the tablet world.
Nokia, the former mobile giant that has recently been bought by Microsoft Inc., is going to release their first tablet! It’s a Windows OS based tablet, rumored to be named Sirius.
An unofficial image of Nokia's first Windows tablet has appeared online in many websites! The image first appeared at Winsupersite, and the website somehow has managed to get its mitts on details about many of the Windows 8.1 running tablets that are set to get launched before the end of this year.
This device has been rumored for a while, and is expected to launch alongside the highly anticipated Nokia Lumia 1520 tablet on 26th of October. It is also rumored that, the tablet might feature a 6.7MP primary camera and a multi-function cover supporting a keyboard and additional battery life.
It has been heard that the tablet is apparently powered by a quad-core Qualcomm processor, which is listed as the MSM8974 – we all know this is as good as the Snapdragon 800. The screen might measure 10.1-inches and have a 1080p resolution, which should be very good!
We got no information about the pricing, but it can be guessed that it’ll cost much than the other tablets available in the market. The Surface Pro Tab, released by Microsoft, was highly priced and this is also a Microsoft product now as Microsoft bought Nokia.
So, we’ll have to wait a litle longer to get any type of confirmation until Nokia announces it officially next week.
