HTC is in trouble as another senior executive of the company resigned. HTC VP of Global PR, Lorain Wong, who has just joined four months before, now departs.
HTC is facing too many things at a time. After a massive yearly layoff, the smartphone maker is losing its senior executives one by one. Now a fresh face departs. The Vice President of Global PR, Corporate and Internal Communications, Lorain Wong, has resigned from her position. This is her last working week with the company.
Lorain Wong had previously worked for AT&T and CBS. She also worked in the marketing communications of submarine cable provider Asia Global Crossing for 10 years. She has just joined HTC 4 month before in June. But now she decided to leave. Her direct manager and HTC Chief Marketing Officer Ben Ho told Bloomberg that she resigned for some personal reasons and she "will remain as a consultant for three to four months."
