Problem: The Phone Backlight Turns On And Off On Its Own

Some users encountered this problem on their HTC One X, HTC Desire Z, and HTC Desire S, but this problem doesn't concern only HTC phones. This can be a bit annoying when the phone turns the screen on in the middle of the night just to turn it off in a few seconds. It also significantly reduces the battery life.

Solutions:

In the HTC Desire S set, it is enough to restart the phone to solve this problem.

In HTC One X, The problem doesn’t disappear until the user restores factory settings. To do this, just go to Settings> Backup & reset > Reset Phone. But do remember about the backup.

Problem: The Phone Doesn't Respond At All

It might happen sometimes that any Android phone or Android tablet will not respond at all. In such an awkward situation, users usually remove the battery. But what can users do if there is no battery to remove?

Solutions:

When the phone turns unresponsive, it's usually a good idea to restart the phone. Users can do that by holding the power button for a few seconds and then tapping the Restart phone option. This solves the problem in most of the cases.

Users can also remove the battery if the set have one, which always helps.

Problem: Sometimes The Screen Orientation Changes Too Often

Some of the Android users simply cannot stand it when their screen orientation changes whenever they make a movement like lie down or make a quick hand movement. This can be a bit irritating, but users can easily deal with this problem.

Solution

All the user has to do is to turn off the auto rotate option. Just go to Settings > Display, gestures & buttons and uncheck Auto rotate screen.
