Time over! Nintendo has officially revealed on its main page that it is going to end the Wii production soon. Nintendo writes on it's the official Wii page, "Manufacturing is scheduled to end soon."

Nintendo Wii gaming console went on sale in 2006. During the last 9 years, Nintendo had sold 100 million units of its popular gaming console. But the situation changes now. The famous console has lost its popularity. Hence the company has decided to end its production.
Kotaku reports that a Nintendo spokesman told AFP, "Our new generation Wii U console is already on the market and allows users to play software originally designed for the Wii. So this is part of the transition of our products to new models."
