Nokia’s two XXL size smartphones are the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 respectively with big display screen of 6-inch. Starting with the Lumia 1520, it has a 6 inch display screen. And with 1080p resolution, it is fueled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor. It features Nokia’s standard technology. The single form polycarbonate shell resembles that of the Lumia 720. The black hued model is made of matte material instead and does not show the glossy shiny touch.
The Lumia 1520 does not display a stylus. Lots of tiles appear on the home screen. The camera is a low res version. Besides optic image stabilization there is PureView zooming capability in this device. It is a beauty alright with all the right facilities for a smart user base. And it goes without saying that it is a high end device.
Meanwhile, the Lumia 1320 is a low end device that caters to a different market segment. It sports a 720p display along with a dual core Snapdragon 400 processor. Other than 1GB of RAM it has a 5 megapixel camera to boot. Both smart phones have the newest version of Windows 8 running on them.
As for the Nokia Lumia 1320, it will come in orange, yellow, black and white colors. It will start shipping in first quarter of 2014. China and Vietnam will be the first main markets for this device. Other Asian markets, India and Europe will get it later.
Nokia Lumia 1520 smartphone will be on the shelves by the end of 2013. Its shipment will start in 4th quarter of current year. The Lumia 1520 will cost about $749 before taxes and subsidies while the Lumia 1320 can be yours for $339 without taxes and subsidies. It is a bargain hard to resist.
