Apple iPad Event Live Online Video Stream is Available

Apple is offering a live video stream of the Apple iPad event today. The recent iPhone event had no live stream option, but the October 22 event has again. I do not know what the rule is here, but anyway - a live stream is awesome.

Today Apple will unveil the new iPad 5 and the iPad mini 2 among hopefully many other things. You can follow the iPad event live online. Yes. Apple is once again offering a live video stream of a media event.

The live streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later. You can watch the live stream online here. The iPad media event starts at 10am PDT.

Besides the new Apple tablets, the company is expected to unveil new computers. Let's hope there is at least one surprise product.
