New Mac Pro starts at $2,999 in December

Apple revealed new details of the new Mac Pro. The Mac Pro will run on the Xeon 5 and feature 1866Mhz DDR3 ECC RAM. It comes standard with dual-workstation GPUs. It has special 4k video capabilities.

More specific details will come when Apple releases the data sheets and press-release of the Mac Pro.

Apple is set to have an exciting fall and holiday season with the release of iOS 7 and OS Maverick in addition to a slew of new devices including the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPad 5, iPad mini 2, Mac Pro, MacBook Air, iMac and MacBook Pro. There might also be something completely new that we do not know about. It is likely not the iWatch, which is expected for 2014.
