Apple has become the best tablet provider one more time with a 14.25 million iPad shipment and 29.7 percent of market share in the final year quarter year
Apple Balla reports that the tech giant has achieved the top spot once again for another quarter year.
According to IHS, a research firm, Apple is continuing its reign in the tablet market with a 14.25 million iPad shipment, accompanied by a market share of 29.7 percent in the final year quarter. Nonetheless, it is a fall from the second quarter’s shipment of 14.62 million iPads.
Apple’s fierce rival, Samsung, has managed to grab the second spot with 10.7 million tablet shipments and 22.7 percent market share, which is an increase from the previous quarter’s 8.6 million tablet shipments with a 20 percent market share.
According to Rhoda Alexander, the IHS director of tablet research, “Hardware profit plays a big role in Apple’s success, enabling the design, durability and performance innovations that, in turn, supports Apple’s premium pricing.”
Apple is looking forward to extending its reign in the tablet market with the new iPads for which the customers are found very excited.
