iFixit just took apart the new iPad Air that goes on sale today.

The new super thin and light iPad Air is on sale today. Apple gear repair shop iFixit has already gotten their hands on an iPad Air in Australia and took it apart in what is likely the first iPad Air teardown.

So what is inside the iPad Air? It is mostly battery. As always the inside is arrange very cleanly in the iPad Air. iFixit gives the iPad Air a repairability score of 2 out of 10. This basically means: Do not break it!

You can order the iPad Air online in the Apple Store now. Delivery is on Monday November 4.
