The Red Sox Beards are legendary. Maybe they are the reason for the World Series win. Now the beards are coming off though.
The Boston Red Sox won the 2013 World Series. All players are wearing beards and some of them are really long. All Red Sox players grew beards in the 2013 season as a sign for solidarity. Now some of the most impressive beards get shaved off for charity. On Monday morning World Series MVP David Ortiz, outfielder Shane Victorino (photo), and bullpen Officer Steve Horgan will shave their beards in the Gillette World Shaving Headquarters lobby.
There is no information yet which charity will get to benefit from the beard shave-off. I guess Gillette will let the world know on Monday. They are marketing wizards. Via Forbes.
It is not clear yet which Boston Red Sox players will also shave their beard off.
