Just days before the launch of the first next generation console the gaming community is is in a heated discussion about whether the Xbox One or the Sony PS4 is the better hardware to play the new Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The Sony PS4 is launching on November 15 and the new Xbox One will be released on November 22. A critical game for both consoles is already going to be released on November 5. The new Call of Duty: Ghosts will be again a huge hit. Watch the cool live-play promotion video below featuring Megan Fox (yes!). No gamers have been made unsure about which new game console is the better option for playing COD: Ghosts. The reason for it is a tweet by Infinity Ward's Mark Rubin - maker of the game. He said that the Xbox One runs the game only at 720p and upscales the output to 1080p. The Sony PS4 runs the new Call of Duty game natively 1080p. Mr. Rubin also said that the game is optimized for both consoles and the game runs at 60fps and looks great on both.
So what does that statement mean? It basically says the Sony PS4 has faster hardware than the Xbox One. In the end it does though make no real difference as Mr. Rubin says it looks great on both. I assume only the gamers with a huge 1080p TV will maybe see a difference, but only if they are able to directly compare Xbox One and PS4 output of the game.
The PS3 is also more powerful than the Xbox 360, but still the Xbox 360 is the most popular consoles. There are other factors that should drive your decision on which console you get than the hardware performance.
